Fortune Magazine , founded by American Henry R. Luce in 1930, is one of the world's most influential business magazines.

It is part of Time Inc., a subsidiary of Time Warner, and primarily features articles on economic issues. Since 1954, Fortune has published the Fortune Global 500 list, which has become a focal point of attention in the economic world with significant impact.

Fortune also hosts a series of high-profile financial forums, such as the Fortune Global Forum, also known as the meeting of the top 500 companies in the world. In the early 1980s, the magazine was translated as "Happiness" magazine in Chinese publications.

In November 2018, Fortune Magazine was sold to Fortune Media Group Holdings Limited for $150 million. The Chinese version of Fortune is the only magazine in China authorized by Time Inc. to use the "Fortune" name.
